Join us for an unforgettable day with internationally recognized salsa artist, Natalia Beans!
Known for her incredible musicality, dynamic styling, and infectious energy, Natalia brings a unique perspective to salsa dancing. Whether you're looking to refine your body movement, level up your shines, or improve your partnerwork, this is an opportunity to learn from one of the most versatile dancers in the salsa community.
Spend the day training, social dancing, and connecting with dancers from across the Edmonton salsa scene.
Event Schedule
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Workshop 1 - Body Movement (1.5 hours)
Develop greater control, fluidity, and confidence through targeted body movement exercises designed to improve how you express the music and connect with your dancing.
12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Workshop 2 - Mambo Shines (1.5 hours)
Elevate your footwork, timing, and musical interpretation with a high-energy shines workshop focused on authentic mambo movement and expression.
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Workshop 3 - Partnerwork (1 hour)
Explore connection, technique, and creative combinations while learning how to become a more adaptable and responsive dancer, whether leading or following.
9:00 PM - Late: Social Dancing
Dance the night away with Edmonton's salsa community and put your new skills into practice.
10:00 PM: Feature Performances
Enjoy performances by Brittany, Amalia, and Natalia Beans!
11:00 PM: Jack & Jill Competition
Test your social dancing skills in our fun and friendly Jack & Jill Competition. No partner required. Competitors will be randomly matched and judged on musicality, connection, adaptability, and overall performance.
