As part of the Thessaloniki Fringe Live Art Showcase, artists will present a selection of performance art works.
Narrow Spaces is a work of performative poetry that explores loss, grief, freedom, and the longing for visibility and acceptance of a queer existence— a creature caught in a war that unfolds through the body, through relationships, and ultimately within society.
A poet-performer and a musician bring a series of poems to life, giving them flesh and voice so that they may finally step outside the room they have been confined to.
“What hurts me most is that I feed selflessness to the dead canary.”
