Amsterdam-based Hungarian jazz pianist Máté Lachegyi organises the concert series ‘Realms of Imagination’ at various venues in Amsterdam. Each concert focuses on a different field of imagination: dreams, spirituality, cinematography, poetry...
This concert delves into the musical aspects of the transcendent and sacred in the world and in our mind. The unique combination of historic and modern instruments determines the programme: a mixture of improvisation, early music & contemporary pieces (some of which are composed by Máté Lachegyi for this occasion). The line-up of the concert is also special and formed by family bond: Máté Lachegyi will share the stage with his sister Anna and Anna's husband, Julian Sarmiento.
