Band Bio:“The Mystery Train Band is Connecticut based musical tribute project dedicated to celebrating the music catalog of the Jerry Garcia Band. When Jerry wasn't playing with the Grateful Dead, he built a second life onstage playing Motown, Reggae, Dylan, The Band, Gospel, Rock Classics, and his own songs written with Robert Hunter. The group formed in the fall of 2023 and has been playing throughout western Connecticut ever since. Mystery Train is not a Dead cover band. They play the Jerry Garcia Band catalog, and the covers he loved enough to make his own.”
