The Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival is a two-day, walkable music festival featuring regional, touring, and local songwriters performing throughout the Downtown Arts & Innovation District. The festival highlights live original music, community engagement, local businesses, and arts-centered programming in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach.
The event is free and open to the public, with VIP ticket packages available.

Kickoff Party

The festival officially begins with a kickoff celebration featuring live music, community gathering, food and drinks, and a silent auction benefiting Backpack Buddies

The kickoff party serves as the official opening event welcoming artists, sponsors, visitors, and the local community ahead of the main festival day.

Main Festival Day
2:00 PM – Midnight
The main festival features songwriter rounds and performances across multiple walkable venues throughout the Downtown Arts & Innovation District. Music programming will run on a staggered, tiered schedule from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM to encourage safe pedestrian flow and support participating local businesses.

A family-friendly Kids Corner will provide instruments, teachers, and opportunities for children to learn to play and write their own songs
Grand Finale Showcase
Grand Strand Brewing Company Outdoor Stage
(9:00 PM – Midnight)
The festival concludes with a full-band, and then a grand finale showcase featuring participating festival artists performing together on the outdoor stage at Grand Strand Brewing Company.
The Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival is designed to create a vibrant cultural experience that supports musicians, local businesses, tourism, and community connection while showcasing the growing arts scene in downtown Myrtle Beach. Through our Songs That Save Foundation we are raising money for Backpack Buddies so they can feed children and families before the holiday season.
