Cowboy Monkey Presents:Mynd Reader LIVE
Friday, November 6th, 2026
Doors 7pm • Music 8pm • 19+
6 E. Taylor St., Champaign, IL.
About Mynd Reader:
MYND READER is a Boulder, Colorado rock-and-roll outfit built on vintage grit, modern scale and a heavy dose of soul. Led by the powerhouse, Southern-rasped vocals of Shelby Kemp alongside guitarist Tonin and veteran drummer Brian Sachs, the band pulls from classic rock, blues, Americana and soul to create something both familiar and distinctly current.
Their self-titled 2026 debut traces a journey through loss, survival, redemption and renewal, pairing atmospheric guitars and massive rhythms with deeply personal songwriting. Mixed by seven-time Grammy winner Michael Brauer — whose credits include The Rolling Stones, Coldplay and My Morning Jacket — the record carries echoes of Bad Company, The Black Crowes and golden-era American rock without simply living in the past.
