Dreams For Teens- Mycology; Murshoom Photography and DNA Sequencing

Step into the hidden world of fungi at this hands-on teen day camp focused on mycology, mushroom photography, and DNA sequencing. Through guided field exploration and close-up observation, teens will learn how to photograph mushrooms, study fungal diversity, and discover how modern science is used to identify species at the genetic level. They’ll connect creativity with fieldwork and lab-based discovery while gaining a deeper understanding of how fungi shape ecosystems and scientific research. It’s a fascinating, one-of-a-kind adventure for teens who love nature, science, and seeing the world from a whole new perspective.
The Camp is FREE, and snacks and water will be provided. There is a suggested $35 donation to cover the cost of supplies, payable through the link below.
