OUR FIRST FEATURED ARTIST EXHIBITION ✨L. Summers Collective is honored to welcome mother-daughter duo Lisha + Alex Mack of “My Peoples” Art for Stories Behind the Art.
There couldn’t be a more meaningful month to share their story. October nationally recognizes both Down Syndrome Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness — especially significant as we celebrate Alex’s Down syndrome diagnosis and Lisha’s extraordinary 25-year journey with breast cancer.
And on opening night, you won’t just see the art — you’ll get to watch it come to life.
Alex will create and finish an original painting LIVE, giving guests a rare look into her process as a new work takes shape right in the gallery.
Lisha + Alex will also be signing their books, available for purchase that evening — a chance to meet the artists, hear the stories behind the work, and leave with something personally signed by this incredible duo.
