Steve Solomon expands his signature comedy style in My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m Still in Therapy!, a fast-moving one-man show centered on marriage, in-laws, family traditions, and the countless everyday moments that can send anyone straight to therapy. Packed with new characters and fresh situations, the show turns the chaos of family life into a sharp, character-driven comedy.Moving rapidly from one personality to the next, Solomon creates a full world of relatives, opinions, arguments, and misunderstandings with precise timing and an instinct for the details that make people instantly recognizable. The humor comes from the collision of strong personalities, cultural quirks, and the familiar reality that the people closest to us often know exactly how to drive us crazy.
Drawing from Italian and Jewish family dynamics while tapping into experiences that reach far beyond any one background, the show is lively, specific, and widely relatable. The result is an energetic comedy built on storytelling, physicality, and the kind of family tension that is as exhausting as it is funny.
