You might get to see the early workings of a groundbreaking new piece, see emerging talent before they're discovered, or at the very least see your friend see how good a friend you are! One thing’s for sure - you’ll have to buy a ticket to find out!
Motley Crew Presents returns with its next instalment of scratch night ‘My Mate’s in a Play’ with five exciting new pieces of writing. We aim to provide you with a night of entertainment, creating opportunities for emerging writers, directors and actors to play and experiment with new work.
My Mate's in a Play has found its home at The Golden Goose Theatre, Camberwell for the last two years.
The Golden Goose is a felxible 83-seater black box pub theatre, and is easily accessible by foot from Oval Station (Northern Line), or a short bus ride from Vauxhall (Victoria Line/National Rail) or Denmark Hill (Windrush Line/Thameslink).
Once our performances are done, you're welcome to stay with us for a drink, allowing you, the audience, to mingle with the actors and creatives, network, offer thoughts on the pieces, or simply be part of a welcoming community passionate about theatre.
