About this Event
What would life be like if you could rebuild and refocus?
Most owners plan once a year and drift by February. The plan was not wrong. Twelve months is
just so much room that nothing has to happen this week.
Cut the year to twelve weeks and the arithmetic changes. A week is now worth what a month used
to be worth. Lose one and you feel it.
Here is the part nobody says out loud. You do not skip the rebuild because you are lazy. You
skip it because you are the reason the thing moves at all, and a quiet afternoon might prove it.
So we never ask you to stop. Nobody rebuilds an engine at seventy miles an hour, and nobody
pulls over either. You build the plan in the same twelve weeks you are running the company. Two
hours a week, one page at a time, and the engine keeps running.
And there is a second reason people come
It might not be a system you have been missing. It might be accountability, and people
to travel the journey with.
Working alone and being alone in your business leadership is no fun. It is not life-giving. You
cannot really talk it through with your spouse without watching the eyes glaze over, and you cannot
talk it through with your team without stirring up worry about whether their job is safe. So you
carry it by yourself.
Come get encouraged to travel the distance, and to get your work done together.
How the two hours are spent
The same seven moves, every week, in the same order. By week four people stop noticing the
shape and start using it.
- 3:00 The Call. Last week gets scored out loud, one at a time. Number first, story second.
- 3:15 The Plans. One idea, taught once. This week's station and nothing else.
- 3:35 The Work. Silent work on your own business. Phones down. Nobody talks, including me.
- 4:00 The Table. You read your work out loud. The others press on it. You sharpen it.
- 4:30 The Process. The week's page gets finished, in ink.
- 4:45 The Promise. The next seven days written down as promises, and your week scored before you leave.
- 4:55 The Take Home. One assignment before the next afternoon. Each week's assignment builds on the one before it, so the twelve weeks add up instead of repeating.
Take the teaching block out and those same moves are a thirty minute weekly stand-up. That is
exactly the meeting you take home to your own company. You are not learning about a meeting. You
are sitting inside it.

Twelve afternoons build the plan. The thirteenth closes the cycle and loads the next one, three
weeks later, after the holidays.
What you walk away with
1. A rhythm you run every quarter. You condense the year down to the one
quarter of work that actually matters, so you stop procrastinating. Then you run it again, and it
gets sharper every time.
2. Accountability that is built in. You are surrounded by other people working
just as hard on their own stuff. Nobody has to manufacture the pressure. It is sitting at the table
with you.
3. A dashboard that gets in your face every day. It pulls forward the few things
you need to see out of all the data your business already produces, so you run on real information
in real time instead of on how you feel that morning.
And you carry the proof of it out the door: twelve pages in your own handwriting
that make the plan, a scoreboard your team can run without you, and the rhythm
already on your calendar.
You do not have to walk alone. And you do not have to walk blind.
No promise about your revenue. I cannot make you do the work, so I will not sell you the result.
I will sell you the machine, the room, and thirteen weeks of company while you learn to run it.
Who it is for
Owners of businesses that are already running. Any size. No revenue minimum, ever. Bring your
second in command, your operations person, your sales lead, each on their own seat.
Who it is not for. Anyone who cannot give up thirteen afternoons. Anyone looking
for a speaker to listen to. You write in this room. It is a workshop, not a talk.
And a year in the BUILD community
Applying for the Challenge comes with a one year membership in BUILD, Business
United in Leadership Development. We build you a profile, and you get a way to keep up with the
other members and with everything BUILD runs through the year.
That is the part that outlasts the thirteen afternoons. The room does not close when the cycle
does.
The price
$1,000 for the whole package, all thirteen sessions. Or $100 a
session if you would rather come one at a time. Thirteen at a hundred is thirteen hundred,
so the package saves you three hundred dollars.
Fourteen seats
Limited space available. Fourteen chairs, and that is the whole room. Past that the table work
stops working, which is the only reason the number is what it is.
