This program examines revolution as a continuous process of change, protest, and the pursuit of equality.
About this Event

This fall the Boston Public Quartet will be in four different locations performing Music of Revolution, featuring music of Joseph Bologne, the Shostakovich piano quintet, and protest music "Strange Fruit" and "What's Going On," performed by Eoin Clark, Miki Cloud, Ricardo Sardiñas, Jason Amos, and Betsy Hinkle.

For two decades, the BPQ has been a pioneer in normalizing the amplification of historically excluded voices in classical music. This season continues that mission by moving beyond simplistic definitions to embrace the rich tapestry of cultures, experiences, and struggles through the Music of Revolution.
