Each session explores a different area of the business - from artists and managers to labels, festivals, publishing, marketing, and beyond. Expect honest insight, practical advice, and real-world experience, followed by an open mic and open Q&A.
Meet This Week’s Guest
Marc Williams is the founder of OddChild Music, a London‑based independent artist management company and creative hub known for championing distinctive artists. Since launching OddChild in 2011, Marc has applied his experience as an artist manager, writer, and producer to nurture careers and support musical voices that defy convention.
Marc notably discovered and cultivated the early career of multi‑platinum artist Labrinth, helping guide him from emerging talent to chart‑topping success while fostering a roster of unconventional creatives. Through OddChild, he continues to support ambitious artists, both in their artistic identity and career strategy - encouraging them to embrace uniqueness and let their music speak for itself.
A respected figure in artist development, Marc brings real‑world insights into management, artist‑label dynamics, and the evolution of independent music careers. Whether advocating for creative individuality or adapting to changing industry landscapes, he remains dedicated to empowering the next generation of artists.
