🌟 Support Our Mission! 🌟

FONA supports and celebrates the science, beauty, and community impact of the U.S. National Arboretum through education, engagement, and access to nature. As the Arboretum’s primary nonprofit partner, FONA extends the Arboretum’s reach by partnering with local schools and teachers to support garden education.

Our School Garden Support Program works with educators across D.C. to build strong, sustainable school garden programs. We empower teachers to connect students to garden-based education through field trips in the Washington Youth Garden, classroom support, and professional development opportunities.

Join us in celebrating the teachers who are working to bring quality garden education to every child in D.C! Please to become a FONA member and support our mission.
