Shrewsbury Choral joins with Ellesmere College Lower School Choir and Shrewsbury Sinfonia for a beautifully curated programme of music reflecting on war, loss and peace. The two main works will be Karl Jenkins’ ‘A Mass For Peace’ and the 25 minute ‘Move Him Into The Sun’ which sets Shropshire soldier-poet Wilfred Owen’s poetry to a radiant score originally commissioned in 2018 by the Trustees of St Chad’s Music Festival and Shrewsbury Bookfest. Tickets £20.
