We are delighted to invite you to our Special Fundraising Concert this summer:
Music For A While – A Summer's Evening of Serenade and Song
on Thursday, 9th July from 7:30 - 9:15pm at St Mary's Bourne Street, London (near Sloane Square)
Our musicians are:
Pianist Ann Sloboda, Head of Music Therapy at the Guildhall. She trained in piano at Oxford and is also a qualified psychoanalyst and knows CPU well in this capacity.
Cellist Richard Bolton, a professional cellist and has worked mainly in the fields of opera and folk music. He is also a guitarist and has performed for the CPU previously.
Mezzo-soprano Rebecca Stockland started singing while at school in Oxford, belonging to many of the city's choirs and vocal groups. A graduate in Music from the University of Exeter, she continued her training at the Guildhall with Jennie Caron. Rebecca joined the English National Opera Chorus in 2010 and has sung in many opera companies since then.
Tenor Philip Robinson, trained as a professional tenor at the Royal Academy of Music and works with CPU as a strategic partner to the Yellow Heart Trust charity he leads, which specialises in issues relating to trauma and addiction.

All proceeds from the event will fund our efforts to provide access to psychotherapy for those most in need.
