Music City Mustang Club Fall Color Tour! Meet at Publix Harpeth Village in Fieldstone Farms, Franklin @ 7:45 with a rollout at 8. We will take Fieldstone Parkway across Hillsboro Rd to Cotton Lane. Turn left and take Cotton Lane south to Del Rio Pike. We will turn right (west) and go to Old Hillsboro Rd (Hwy 46) then turn left. We will need a car to block traffic if possible to stay together. We will take Hwy 46 South through Leiper's Fork. We will then pick up Hwy 46 again and make a right turn then passing a fire station. It's 1/2 mile to the Trace entrance. We will turn left into the entrance then come to a stop sign. We'll turn right (south) onto the Trace.
We will cruise with our usual stops for bathroom breaks at Garrison Creek, Gordon House and Collinwood Welcome Center which will have coffee, cookies and lots of memorabilia.
Lunchtime arrival will be between 11:30am and 12noon.
This year we are eating lunch at The Bridges Resort, Alpine restaurant. After signing a waiver you can explore the grounds. There are two water, wind formed natural land Bridges! Only place in the country with two. There is a beautiful stream running by the restaurant. They also have an Ice Cave to explore where it is 58 degrees year round. This year an added option will be the Shiloh National Park just 50 minutes from the Bridges. There are also some Indian Mounds near Shiloh. Stay tuned for updates. And Google The Bridges in Waynesboro. Anyone joining us from Rocket City or from Columbia can meet us at either the Gordan House near Hwy 50 or Meriweather Lewis Park near Hwy 20.
