Free Matcha Tasting in Asakusa: 2 special days only.
Our matcha tasting is usually a paid experience, but on 26th and 27th November, we are opening our doors for free. We want more people to discover the beauty of Japanese matcha, so come and join us! In return, we encourage visitors to post about their experience online.
During the experience, you will taste five matchas from five regions of Japan, where each one has its own character, from fresh and bright to soft, sweet, and creamy. Along the way, you will learn how matcha is grown, shaded, and made, as well as its history and health benefits.
Free entry on November 26 and 27 only; the regular price is ¥8,000 per person. There are only
four spots per session, and booking in advance is required by email at [email protected].
