Curated by Denise Araouzou
📍Kitiou Kiprianou 2, Limassol (corner of WeSpace)
VELYCHKO GALLERY presents MURMUR kairos, a solo exhibition by Cypriot artist Kyriaki Costa showcasing a new body of work comprising sculpture, embroidery and painting. MURMUR kairos departs from the idiom ‘canary in the coal mine’ to speak about the murmurs heeding a response at such a decisive time. Costa questions the imbalances between more-than-human messengers, exposure and responsibility, and chooses sentinel species to narrate the instrumentalisation of bodies, stories of entanglement, and choreographies of resistance.
After Limassol Art Walks, the exhibition is open by appointment until 15 December (+357 96 85 55 80)
Free entrance
