When you join us for an intimate murder mystery dinner at 8 Cats Cincinnati, you’re not just attending an event—you’re stepping into a story unfolding inside our historic 1885 Victorian mansion, where every room holds a secret and every guest becomes part of the plot. Your evening begins in the foyer, where you’ll be welcomed into the mystery and introduced to the intrigue. From there, your journey continues through the home—moving into the parlor, through the lounge, and into the library—each space revealing new clues, suspicious characters, and unexpected twists.
At last, you’ll arrive in the dining room, where everyone will come together for the final chapter. You’ll be served an elegant five-course formal dinner, thoughtfully woven into the experience as the story unfolds. You’ll question motives, uncover secrets, and gather the pieces needed to solve the crime. Come prepared to investigate, indulge, and keep your wits about you—because you’ll need to decide… who did it? After dinner, you'll be offered one of our speciality curated teas or coffee service. You may even choose to continue your evening and sip any remaining wine you have in our lounge. Our 8 friendly resident cats will be invited to join you on your adventure for the evening, and may even offer up a clue or two!
Pricing includes game play, full dinner and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests are permitted to bring wine, beer or champagne of their choice without a corking fee. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
To ensure the most intimate and immersive guest experience, attendance is limited to a maximum of 10 guests. Arrive as yourself—your character will be assigned just before the game begins. Once you’ve received your persona for the evening, a selection of costume accessories and props will be available to help you step fully into your role.
This experience is geared towards ages 16+. 21+ required to bring/consume alcohol.
Free parking is available in the rear of the venue as well as free street is available.
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event will receive a credit toward a future event.
No credits for no-shows. Ticket Sales close 18 hours prior to event.
