The next level of the Invercargill Street Food Market series has been reached! On Saturday the 14th of November, join us on both Esk and Don Streets from 5:00pm – 9:00pm for an unforgettable evening of international gastronomic delights, music, and community spirit.
The Multicultural Street Food Market will offer a diverse variety of mobile food vendors as well as a host of international community groups sharing their cultures' cuisines, alongside cosy table and chair settings for you to dine at and enjoy the music and dancing entertainment. All this in heart of Invercargill's City Centre.
Sign up to be a food vendor:
International community groups, clubs and organisations (as well as established mobile food vendors) are invited to share authentic food from your culture with thousands of locals and visitors. Just fill in the registration form linked here: https://greatsouth.wufoo.com/forms/w1osviw41n72ar4/
We're also seeking cultural performers!
Do you have a dance group, music ensemble, cultural performance troupe, choir, or other traditional entertainment you'd like to share? We'd love your help to create a diverse programme of performances throughout the evening. Simply email Great South's City Centre Coordinator - [email protected] to register your interest in being a part of the vibrant entertainment lineup for the evening.
Save the date, invite your mates, and come on down to the Multicultural Street Food Market for a tantalizing feast of international flavours, music, and new experiences!
Please note Esk and Don Streets (between Kelvin and Dee Streets) will be closed to vehicle traffic from 12:00pm - 10pm to allow for the safe setup, delivery and pack down of this event.
This event is brought to you by Great South and Invercargill City Council in partnership with the Southland Multicultural Trust, as part of the City Centre Activation Programme.
