🌎💃 8th Multicultural Folk Dance Gathering 🕺🌎

Come dance around the world in one exciting afternoon and evening!
Experience the vibrant traditions of China, West Africa, Ireland, the Caribbean, Romania, and Hungary—all presented by talented local New Jersey folk dance groups in beautiful traditional costumes.
But don't just watch—join the dance! After each performance, the group's leaders will teach you some of the dances, giving everyone a chance to experience the music, movement, and traditions firsthand.
✨ No previous dance experience necessary!
✨ All ages and skill levels welcome!
✨ Live demonstrations + hands-on dance workshops
✨ Come as you are and dance as much—or as little—as you like!
This is a fast-paced, lively, and highly interactive celebration of cultural diversity, with performances and dance instruction happening throughout the event.

SCHEDULE:
6:00-6:30 PM – Hungarian dances and games for children
6:30-7:00 PM – Irish dances by Fitzgerald School of Irish Dance
7:00-7:30 PM - Chinese Dances by Qing Yang & QYDS group
7:30-8:00 PM - West African Dances by Audrey Davis Dunning & drummers
8:00-8:30 PM – Caribbean/Puerto Rican dances by Cimarrones ensemble & drummers
8:30 PM-12 AM - DANCE HOUSE: Hungarian free dances and teaching circles led by guest dancers from Hungary. Live music by Fényes band and friends.
