It's time to start Mt Hood Orienteering's metrogaine season. This begins with the 2nd Annual Portland Metrogaine on Sunday, November 8, 2026. You get a map covering over 35 square kilometers of central Portland (Oregon) including downtown, NW Portland, Kings Heights, Arlington Heights, Washington Park, and, of course, Forest Park. For your adventure, find as many virtual control sites in the time limit of the course of your choice (1, 2, 4, or 6 hours). There's lots of beautiful views, magnificent forests, incredible architecture, and interesting history to experience along the way. When you're done, enjoy some refreshments while sharing your stories and courses with others. Everyone's adventure is different and fun to experience or hear about.
