About this Event
Morven Sustainability Lab Community Tree Walk
Join Louis Bubrig, a recent UVA PhD Graduate Student, Lab Specialist for UVA Biology, and Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards Volunteer for a guided exploration of several of Morven’s trees with the Morven Sustainability Lab’s historic core and formal gardens. Experience Morven’s beautiful fall colors and learn about how trees prepare for winter, why each color helps trees in different ways, and what mysteries of autumn remain unsolved. This walk is intended for tree beginners: no prior knowledge necessary!
