FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH WE’RE TAKING OVER 1928 EATERY & PUB!
This venue features THE KILLER KEYS duelling pianos as our entertainment! Have your requests & tips ready!
This is a Mrs. Roper themed event where all attendees, regardless of gender or identity, dress as their favourite wise-cracking landlady, Helen Roper, from the Three’s Company the 70s sitcom TV show!
THIS IS A COSTUMED EVENT.
COSTUMES FITTING THE THREE’S COMPANY THEME ARE MANDATORY.
This will be a first come, first serve event but that said — the venue should be able to accommodate everyone that shows up!
There are a select number of seats (30) at tables nearest the stage that are available for reservation at small fee of a $10 (+ tax) as cover charge payable to the venue + a 1 one beverage (of any kind) purchase. IF you are interested in this option, please DM me and I will share the manager of 1928’s contact info so you can call her direct and reserve a table and be sure to mention ROPER ROMP so she knows you are part of our group.
RESERVATIONS ARE NOT MANDATORY — THEY ARE OPTIONAL.
The rest of the tables, outside of the immediate piano bar area, are free seating with NO cover charge and NO reservations. First come, first serve.
This venue is wheelchair accessible. There is restaurant on site if you want to grab dinner or a bite! As well, 1928 serves up many non-alcoholic beverages for those not indulging.

Some tips for joining the fun:
1) Mrs. Roper is inclusive and kind. ALL are welcome! And while we all love a good comeback, please keep them light-hearted and never mean. Anyone caught conducting themselves in a manner unbecoming of Helen will be asked to leave.
2) Don't be a stingy Stanley! Tip your servers! A herd of Helens can be over-whelming for staff at times. Let's make sure we make this event fun for every one who encounters it!
3) CASH IS ALWAYS KING but this venue does accept cards as well has an ATM on site. If grabbing a drink at the bar, always pay for your drink up front. There is table service available so make sure your tab is paid BEFORE you leave the venue. Mrs. Roper would never stiff the Regal Beagle for a cocktail.
4) Non-drinkers welcome! This will hopefully as much of a fun social outing as it will be a pub takeover! Come join a group of like-minded fun-loving strangers and hopefully make some new friends! After all, we’ve a lovable space that needs your face!
5) Before you do something think to yourself, "WWMRD?" (What would Mrs. Roper do?) We're all going to be dressed alike so don't do anything that might get all the Mrs. Ropers kicked out of a venue. We're all here to have fun!
6) Know your limits and never drink & drive! Helen was always looking out for others — you should too! 1928 is right on Portage Ave. so plenty of safe ride transportation options available.
Let’s make this an event that would make Stanley break the third wall!
