MRC would like to invite you to join us for our Opening Meet 2026 on the Haddon Estate, home of Lord and Lady Manners. This is a stunning estate to ride around and offers a great range of optional jumping to include walls, rails and hedges, with spectacular views of the Derbyshire countryside. (Knee boots recommended).
We will leave as one group and ride together. All jumping is optional, there is always a way around.
We warmly welcome new riders to join us. To make sure everyone feels safe and enjoys the experience, riders should be comfortable cantering in a group and riding in open countryside environments.
Dress code: Formal Hunting Attire - Black/Navy hunt coats, stock shirts with white stock, cream jodhpurs, long boots, and hairnets for ladies.
Horses should be plaited or hogged and smartly turned out.
