Join us on Wednesday, October 28, 12-1 p.m. at the Greater Midland Community Center Activity Room 3, 2205 Jefferson Avenue, for a community information session to learn more about the district’s proposed Sinking Fund Millage. On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, voters will consider a proposed 1.5-mill, 10-year sinking fund millage. If approved, these funds would go directly toward addressing our district’s most pressing needs across three main priority areas:
- Student Safety & Security
- Aging Infrastructure
- Transportation & Technology Infrastructure Replacements
The proposed sinking fund is an important component of the MPS Strategic Plan and would support the district’s continued efforts to provide safe, skill-building environments that help prepare students for success in college, careers, and the workforce.
Whether you’re a parent, a neighbor, or just a community member who cares about the future of our local schools, we’d love to see you there. Bring your questions!
