Welcome to the Oct gathering of MPOWER. We're the largest (1.3K+ members) & most powerful collective of female business owners in DSTX!About this Event
Since 2019, MPOWER Dripping Springs has created hundreds of valuable alliances between local female business owners! We are so excited that you have chosen to join us! We are a POWERFUL group of female entrepreneurs that are relationship-driven and faithful advocates for each others’ businesses! We are not some big national brand with multiple chapters and membership fees... we're a grassroots collective of women collaborating together to succeed in business and life!
Each month you attend, you'll receive a contact list for all attendees! We need to include YOU on it, so Iook for the link on the ticket confirmation page to provide your info! If you don't provide additional information, we will use the basic information Eventbrite captures which may include your personal email address.
About our October 2026 Meeting...
Please arrive by 6pm so you can get settled before we begin our agenda around 6:15pm.
We will each have 45 seconds to speak. When your turn comes up, you'll share:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Where you're located
- A quick summary of what your business offers
- Share the scariest lesson/story you've experienced as an entrepreneur
At the end of our evening, there will be an additional opportunity for you give a shout-out to another female business owner who helped you, or share details on any special upcoming events at your business.
P .S. If you get nervous about public speaking, feel free to bring and read your story. We'll cheer you on because we've all been there for the first time ourselves!
See y'all on October 13th from 6-8pm at Oakwood Public Market. Doors will open at 5:45pm to allow time for informal networking. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on individual tabs.
THE FINE PRINT: We are no longer accepting walk-ins for our events, please plan accordingly as our gatherings always sell out. If you arrive without a ticket or you do not own a business, you will be turned away (awkward for all involved!). If you purchase a resale ticket through our MPOWER DSTX Facebook group, be aware that these rules still apply and your contact information will not be included on the contact sheet until AFTER the event. The deadline to provide information about your business is the Saturday prior to the event. If you give away or sell your ticket to another female business owner, your contact information will not be included on the contact sheet at the meeting. If you are absent, we do not allow other members to present on your behalf. Please arrive on time so you do not miss your allocated speaking time on our agenda. By attending, you are representing your business and not someone else's business. We will take a group photo at the end of the event.
In accordance with our mission, MPOWER Leadership reserves the right to limit attendance to:
1) Female entrepreneurs owning/operating ethical, legitimate business(es)
2) Participants in the MPOWER DSTX Facebook group
3) Participants who have demonstrated respect to small businesses in the Dripping Springs community.
Tickets purchased/claimed by unqualified attendees may be denied/forfeited at the discretion of MPOWER leadership with no refunds provided. All ticket proceeds are donated to local Dripping Springs non-profit organizations. In 2025, we raised over $6,000 for the Dripping Springs Community Library, the Central Texas Food Bank, Williamson County Flood Relief, and the Dripping Springs Education Foundation.
MPOWER DSTX is a community outreach project of Indigo Healing Acupuncture & Massage.
