Giorgio Linguanti, Maestro of Mozzarella
Giorgio arrived in Melbourne from Italy in 2004 with little English and a job in a cheese factory, where his love of cheesemaking took hold. In 2008 he started That's Amore Cheese with a single product, making it by hand, selling it himself and delivering it from the back of his car. Today he's known as Australia's Maestro of Mozzarella, handcrafting cheese from traditional Italian recipes using milk from Victorian farmers. For Giorgio, the secret is simple: "If you do it with love, the results are obvious."
