Moyka is a Bergen-based electronic pop artist with a sound that balances melancholic depth and irresistible dancefloor energy. Since her 2019 debut, she has steadily built a distinctive musical universe driven by hypnotic beats, razor-sharp melodies, and intimate vocals placed firmly at the center. Often described as a hidden gem, Moyka has emerged as one of Norway’s most compelling and export-ready pop artists.
Her breakthrough came quickly, earning her a nomination for the prestigious Anchor Award at Reeperbahn Festival in 2019. Debut album The Revelations of Love received international praise from Billboard , CLASH , PopJustice and NOTION , the latter naming her a “One to Watch” in collaboration with Amazon Music UK. Since then, Moyka has supported Sigrid on tour, played major Norwegian festivals such as Øya, Bergenfest and Slottsfjell, and taken her music to clubs and festival stages across Europe.
Her second album, Movies, Cars & Heartbreak (2023), marked a new chapter, earning further acclaim from The Line of Best Fit , Notion and Billboard , and leading to two European tours spanning London, Berlin, Germany, Switzerland and Norway. The album cemented Moyka as a powerful live act, with festival seasons growing steadily larger year by year.
In 2025, Moyka entered a new phase of international momentum. Nominated for “Breakthrough of the Year” and “Sync of the Year” for placements in the Netflix hit Young Royals , she launched her first Scandinavian tour and delivered standout festival performances at Palmesus, By:Larm, Mablis and Fluxbau in Berlin. The long-awaited single 24/7 surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams in its first week, followed by Fluorescent and Headlights , completing the Ultraviolet EP.
That same year, Moyka expanded beyond Europe for the first time, playing three successful shows in Mexico City to an intensely engaged audience. A clear proof of a rapidly growing international fanbase. Described by Scandipop UK as “dark at its core, yet radiating a dazzling light that pulls you in and won’t let go,” Moyka is heading into 2026 with new music and undeniable momentum.
