Join Nicole Guzzo, RSW and Lu Hernandez at RVN Wellness in Port Moody for a beautiful, therapeutic gathering inspired by the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Together, we'll create a welcoming space to honour the people and pets we've lost, celebrate the connections that remain, and explore grief through community, movement and meaningful ritual.
What to Expect
This intimate two-hour gathering will incorporate:
Therapeutic Grief Circle: A supportive space for reflection, remembrance, connection and optional sharing.
Gentle Yoga & Somatic Movement: Accessible, body-based practices to explore emotions, reconnect with yourself and cultivate a sense of grounding.Breathwork &
Mindfulness: Gentle breathing and meditation practices to support reflection and emotional awareness.
Día de los Muertos Ceremony: Learn about this beautiful Mexican tradition and participate in a meaningful ofrenda (remembrance altar) ceremony.
Community & Connection: Honour loved ones alongside others who understand that grief and love can coexist. You are welcome to bring a photograph or small meaningful offering to honour someone who has died, including beloved pets. Sharing is always optional.
Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, there is no right or wrong way to grieve. All experiences are welcome. No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Together, we'll create a welcoming space to honour the people and pets we've lost, celebrate the connections that remain, and explore grief through community, movement and meaningful ritual.

Nicole Guzzo: Therapeutic grief circle and emotional support.
Lu Hernandez: Cultural guidance, yoga, somatic movement and remembrance ceremony.
