Moving Stories: Sharing our Learning

A half-day symposium exploring how teaching & learning for primary SEND pupils can be effectively supported through dance & drama.

Supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Teacher Development Fund

Monday 20 October, 1:30-4:30pm, Free

About Moving Stories

Over the last 2 years, Drama Practitioners from Peoplescape Theatre and Dance Artists from Trinity Laban have worked together with teachers from 6 Lewisham SEND settings to explore how arts-based approaches can support teaching and learning to develop pupils’ communication skills. Artists have experimented with approaches combining dance and drama, sharing skills with teachers, who gradually moved from observers to independent delivery of Moving Stories sessions. How can these approaches be developed and sustained?
