Feeling stiff and achy? Tired and lacking in energy? Unable to relax or focus on what’s important? Lonely?
Start your weekend with a moment of calm at our Saturday morning session which blends Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements, breath work and relaxing meditations, to ease away the stresses of the week. The sessions are led by local teacher Una Bentley, who has been teaching Yoga in Leicestershire since 2010.
Una’s approach is to take care of our whole selves - the body and the mind, as well as the soul. All are welcome, regardless of age and ability, and modifications will be offered.
The sessions will be in our Learning Room which is upstairs in the new Heritage and Learning Centre. There is a lift up as well as stairs and a toilet on the second floor. Please do bring a mat with you if you are able and feel free to bring a cushion, blanket, yoga blocks, water bottle or anything else you may require.
Before attending the class please ensure that you have filled out the health questionnaire via the link which will be sent out in the confirmation email.
Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the session. Attendees are also welcome to stay awhile after the session where Una will be available to answer any questions.'
