MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON (2021)Dir. Dean Fleischer Camp
Movies in the Morning is a free program that invites adults 50 and older to view a film and participate in a group discussion. Each screening includes a short introduction by Film Streams staff, an open group discussion after the film, and time in the lobby to continue the conversation. All attendees are treated to a free, fun-sized popcorn and coffee or soda!
An adorable one-inch-tall shell and his grandmother are the sole survivors of a mysterious tragedy. When a documentary filmmaker discovers them in his Airbnb, the short film he posts online brings Marcel millions of fans, unprecedented dangers, and a new hope at finding his long-lost family.
