Movie Night: Gabo The Creation of Gabriel García Márquez

Our next Movie Night features Gabo: The Creation of Gabriel García Márquez! This event is a collaboration between the Consulate General of Colombia in Hong Kong, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Spanish World HK, the only officially accredited Spanish academy in Hong Kong by Instituto Cervantes.

🎥 A journey through the life of Gabriel García Márquez, from his childhood in Aracataca, Colombia, to becoming the Nobel Prize-winning author of One Hundred Years of Solitude. An investigative documentary directed by Justin Webster that every lover of Spanish language and literature should not miss.

Movie in Spanish with English subtitles.

Everyone is welcome, but those learning Spanish will benefit the most from this screening, as we will have a discussion about the film afterwards, in both Spanish and English.
