Before the internet, we had to use books to find out what a movie was about, who was in it, and whether it was worth watching. One of those books was "Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide". It has 1500 pages of movie synopses, 80% of which most people have never heard of.Chestnuts (Vinny Francois & Katie Pagnucco) pick one of those movies at random, read out the blurb, and then recreate it as ridiculously as possible.
Montreal's Chestnuts has been performing together around town for over ten years, including stops at the Ottawa Improv Festival and Big City Improv Festival (Toronto).
Tickets: 10$ at the door (cash or card)
