🏈 A GRAND OPENING. A TAILGATE. A MOVEMENT OF CHANGE. 🏈After years of dreaming, planning, and growing, we are opening the doors to our very own Movement Mortgage branch in the heart of Mount Dora—and we want our entire community there to celebrate with us!

Admission is completely free, and this is a family-friendly event! A complimentary lunch will be served.
🏈 FOOD, FOOTBALL, FRIENDS AND FAMILY
This is not your typical office Grand Opening. We’re turning it into a full tailgate party with great food, football, a charity silent auction, friends, family, and plenty of fun!
We’ll have several TVs showing different football games throughout the afternoon. UF may be my favorite, but every fanbase is welcome! Wear the jersey of your favorite college or professional team—even if it is a rival—and come ready to enjoy a great day of football with us.
❤️ CELEBRATING WITH A PURPOSE
This event is about more than opening a new office. It is also an opportunity to give back to children in our community through The Care Closet.
The Care Closet began in 2022 when Angie, then a teacher at Sorrento Elementary, noticed students taking food home—not simply for a snack, but because they needed meals for evenings and weekends.
Unable to ignore what she was seeing, Angie began quietly carrying extra food in her backpack and giving it to the students who needed it most.
Today, with the support of our community, The Care Closet continues providing food anonymously to low-income and homeless students—because no child should have to wonder where their next meal will come from.
🎟️ SILENT AUCTION AND MOVEMENT GEAR
Local vendors will be donating great prizes for our charity silent auction. Bidding will remain open throughout the event, and auction winners will be announced at 5:00 PM.
Movement Mortgage shirts and hats will also be available for donations during the entire event.
One hundred percent of all silent auction proceeds and Movement gear donations will go directly to The Care Closet!
Donations may be made by cash, check, or Venmo.
Our participating vendors and auction prizes will be announced in the Facebook Event soon, so make sure you follow the event for updates!
🏡 THIS ONE IS PERSONAL
Opening our own building in my hometown of Mount Dora has been a dream of mine for many years.
Our new office is just down the road from my mom’s former store. It is in the same town where I grew up, met my beautiful wife Sara, raised my family, built lifelong relationships, and have been blessed to grow my business.
Mount Dora is not simply where we do business. It is our home.
That is why this Grand Opening represents so much more than a new address. It is the beginning of a real Movement of Change—one centered around serving families, creating opportunities for homeownership, supporting our local partners, and investing back into the community that has invested so much in us.

The Mount Dora Parks and Recreation office next door has generously allowed us to use its parking lot for the event.

From there, it is a short walk to our new office at 930 N. Donnelly Street. Street parking will also be available.
☔ RAIN OR SHINE
The celebration will continue rain or shine! If it rains, we will move the festivities inside. Bathrooms will be available on-site.
Please note that alcohol will not be provided.
