Movement Inquiries is a free monthly class for anyone curious about movement and the role it plays in how we experience the world. Each gathering begins with a 30-minute talk built around a question about movement. We then spend 90 minutes in guided physical practice, exploring our own abilities and the possibilities offered by the park around us.
The question changes each month. We might explore how movement shapes what we notice in a place, how a railing or staircase can offer more than one way to move, what makes a collection of movements into a movement practice, or how movement has been understood throughout history.
You do not need a background in philosophy or any particular movement skill. Come ready to listen, move, experiment, and ask questions. Wear clothes you can move in and bring water.
When: The second Saturday of every month, 1:00–3:00 p.m.
First class: October 10, 2026
Where: [Memorial Park, Oklahoma City]
Cost: Free
Each class is a complete inquiry, so you are welcome to come for the first time in any month. Please mark “Going” if you plan to attend so I have a sense of how many people to expect.
