Community Friday with Cecilia & Susanne
Cecilia and Susanne are both in their third year of training in Expressive Arts Therapy at the Norwegian Institute for Expressive Arts and Communication. Cecilia has a background in nursing and yoga, while Susanne comes from a background as a visual and performative artist.
We invite you to an evening of movement, play, colour and shared experience.
Through simple exercises inspired by Expressive Arts Therapy and embodied practices, we open up a creative space for play and exploration, and for different ways of meeting ourselves and one another.
We follow a simple and supportive structure, using movement, poetry, colour and creative materials to explore whatever emerges in the moment: within ourselves, between us and within the group as a whole.
Together, we open up space to:
Come closer to the body and the breath
Explore play and our capacity for spontaneity
Find a sense of grounding and steadiness
Experience connection, belonging and the joy of creating
Connect with our own inner wisdom
No previous experience with art or creative practice is needed, only curiousity and an showing up as yourself.
Together, we create a safe space where we can explore spontaneity, self-care and being seen.
