The Menu (what we're making): Vanilla Date Full Moons
Full Moons are packed with natural fiber, nutrients, antioxidants, and flavors from the earth! These energy balls are a perfect pre/post workout snack, meal on the go, or tea-time dessert. Each participant will be able to take home their delicious creations. Beverages will be served.

Movement & Menus is for: People who feel intimidated by healthy cooking but have a desire to learn more about how to support their lifestyle through food. Yogis who love a kitchen project! Anyone searching for a new way to gather in community. People in search of new inspiration. Those who love a healthy sweet treat with tea.
45 Minute Yoga: An open level vinyasa class. Breath focused movement emphasizing mind/body connection.
45 minute Culinary Class: Recipes are meant to serve as a guideline, a boundary in which creativity can flow freely. In Movement & Menus, attendees will receive a recipe booklet, clear demonstration by Mekena, and all ingredients and supplies necessary. Attendees are encouraged to work hands-on, get creative, and modify ingredients to their liking. This class is taught with a balance of freedom and guidance, as it is important to cook with love and an open mind.
The Setting: The Oasis in Encinitas is a community driven studio where all proceeds support the teacher directly. Yoga will be in the studio where mats and props are provided. The culinary class is set on the patio. Parking is free along 2nd street.
