About this Event
Movember Shakeout 2026
One Community. One Cause. Changing the Face of Men’s Health.
Join River Rats Run Club, Farm League Brewing and Runners' Choice Waterloo on Sunday, November 29th, for a special Movember Shakeout as we bring the Waterloo Region community together to move, connect, raise awareness, and support men’s health.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or simply want to support a great cause, everyone is welcome. This event is about more than running. It’s about showing up for one another, starting important conversations, and making a difference together.
What to Expect
🏃 Community Run & Walk
Hit the streets of historic Galt with River Rats Run Club! All paces and abilities are welcome. Run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines. There’s a place for everyone.
🎤 Guest Speakers
Hear from guest speakers sharing meaningful stories and perspectives on men’s health, mental health, and the importance of connection and community.
🍔 Food & Social
Stick around after the run! Food will be available for purchase from The Foundry, giving everyone an opportunity to connect, share stories, and enjoy the community atmosphere.
🍺 A Special Collaboration with Farm League Brewing
We’re proud to have Farm League Brewing as our title partner! Together, we’ve created a special Movember collaboration beer, with a portion of proceeds going directly toward supporting Movember. Raise a glass to a great cause!
🩳 The Noodle Bag Run — Are You Brave Enough?
Things are about to get a little cheeky!
A select group of River Rats Run Club members will be hitting the streets of Galt wearing nothing but a Movember-branded Noodle Bag!
Yes, you read that correctly.
Want to join the madness? We’re inviting brave participants to get involved! Movember Noodle Bags will be available FREE on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Ladies, you’re invited to join the chaos too! Throw on your bathing suit and join the fun.
It’s silly, it’s bold, and it’s all about breaking down barriers, sparking conversations, and bringing attention to men’s health.
Supporting Movember
Movember is a global movement dedicated to changing the face of men’s health, with a focus on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
Through this event, we hope to raise awareness, encourage open conversations, and remind everyone that nobody should have to face life’s challenges alone.
Donations are encouraged but not required to participate. Every contribution helps support Movember’s important work.
