About this Event
Men’s health concerns are among the most common presentations in primary care, yet conditions such as prostate disease, lower urinary tract symptoms, erectile dysfunction and urological cancers can present significant diagnostic and management challenges.
Join Mr James Hicks, Consultant Urological Surgeon, for an educational update designed specifically for GPs and primary care clinicians. Drawing on his extensive experience in urological oncology, robotic surgery and general urology, James will share practical insights into the assessment and management of common men's health conditions, highlight red flags for urgent referral, and discuss current referral pathways and treatment options.
This session will provide an opportunity to enhance clinical knowledge, discuss real-world cases, and gain expert guidance on when specialist input may be beneficial.
Learning objectives:
- Recognise common urological presentations in primary care
- Understand current management approaches for prostate and male urinary symptoms
- Identify red flags for suspected urological cancer
