What is Alexander Technique?
“Alexander Technique” is a set of principles and practices created by FM Alexander (1869 - 1955) that help us bring more practical intelligence into everything we do. Alexander himself called it simply “The work”
Alexander created his work in the course of solving vocal difficulties he experienced as a young actor, and began teaching others to do the same. Realising the universality of what he discovered, Alexander widened the application of the technique to help anyone who wanted to improve the way they moved.
What is the Interactive Teaching Method?
The Interactive Teaching Method is an approach to Alexander Technique which aims to honour Alexander’s work, and bring it to a wider audience in its fullest scope. It does this through the use of new, scientifically proven approaches to pedagogy.
