About this Event
Join the Arts Council of Princeton for an event celebrating Move Like a Truck, the upcoming release by author, illustrator, educator, and Princeton Sketchbook Club member Julia Virginia Win.
Move Like a Truck is a playful rhyming picture book inspired by her experiences as a mother, elementary educator, and yoga teacher, and by her sons' fascination with anything on wheels. Move Like a Truck is published by Strong Girl Publishing.
During this free community event, ages 3-8 and their caregivers are invited to participate in child-friendly movement exercises while getting a sneak peek of Move Like a Truck, available for pre-order at the event.
About the author/instructor:
Julia Virginia Win is a New Jersey-based author, illustrator, artist, and educator whose work brings together creativity, movement, environmental awareness, and community. Her work has been recognized through grants and the Middlesex County Mural Design Contest, which she won in 2023 through a public vote.

Julia is also a trained yoga teacher, with 200 hours of YogaWorks teacher training as well as additional training in children's yoga from Bee You Kids Yoga. Beyond her individual creative work, Julia is the Co-Founder and Chair of the Children's Museum of Central Jersey, an emerging nonprofit dedicated to creating hands-on learning and playful opportunities for children and their caregivers.
