Join us as we come together through movement, love and community to support one of our own following an unimaginable loss.
Cody and Raquel Shepard are grieving the devastating loss of both of their children following a tragic accident. Their 12-year-old son, Calvin, passed away after being struck by a vehicle, and five days later, their 13-year-old daughter, Karalee, also passed away from the severe injuries she sustained in the accident.
Our community is rallying together to provide support during this incredibly difficult time, and we hope you will consider joining us in movement & gentle yoga at Lake Lansing.
Raquel and Cody have practiced at our studio for years and Raquel currently volunteers the at the front desk. What they have gone through is unimaginable and we want to offer as much love and support that we can!
Yoga at the Lake — a simple all levels practice centered around community, connection and coming together 💚 🩷 This class will be accesible to everyone, whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years. Expect gentle movement, breath and plenty of space to simply be present and connected with those around you. ALL ARE WELCOME!
Community Raffle — All made possible by the incredible genoristy of local businesses and community members. THANK YOU! We have been overwhelmed by the kindness of those who have donated items, experiences, gift cards, and more to help support this family. There will be something for everyone, and every raffle ticket purchased helps make a difference.
100% of raffle ticket proceeds will go directly to the Shepard family to help with funeral expenses, medical costs, and personal needs, they will face in the months ahead.
You do not need to attend the yoga class to participate in the raffle. Every ticket is an opportunity to give back, show up for this family, and help carry a little of the weight during an incredibly difficult time.
