Tired of the 'typical networking' where there is a lot of speaking, but not a lot of connection? Want to try another approach that is not only fun, but will build stronger relationships with those that you meet?
Nicole Ennen is a certified facilitator in Movement in Practice, a program that brings the research behind how dance and movement can improve our mood, our cognition, and how we relate to others into real world applications. Participants will be guided through a series of interactive movement and networking activities that will not only be memorable, but help participants build connections that are deeper than the typical meet and greet. Nicole will pull from the research on how moving together can build trust and connection to help participants spark relationships with one another.
The movement activities will be light/accessible (such as walking, arm motions, etc.). Wear comfortable shoes. Weather permitting, we will be outdoors.
The guided networking activities will start around 6:30, so participants are highly encouraged to arrive before that to sign in.
Targetted towards professionals who want to expand their networks, are tired of typical networking experiences, and are open to something new!
This event is hosted at PowerHouse San Jose, which is a women+ event/co-working space. I am renting the house and all of my public events are open to everyone, regardless of gender identity.
