Join us for a fun and educational Mounted Shooting Clinic at the Northwest Wisconsin Equine Club in Hayward, Wisconsin. This clinic will be taught by CMSA World Champion Tiffany Stauffer with Grace & Grit Horsemanship, offering riders the opportunity to learn from an experienced competitor with a strong background in the sport.Whether you are new to mounted shooting or looking to improve your skills, this clinic will focus on building confidence, safety, and solid fundamentals for both horse and rider.
The day will begin with a ground session covering safety, equipment, and shooting fundamentals. Riders will have the opportunity to handle and fire the revolvers before getting on their horses.
From there, we will move into mounted exercises designed to help horses become comfortable with gunfire while riders develop safe and effective shooting techniques from the saddle. Participants will practice drawing, shooting, and holstering while maintaining balance, control, and clear communication with their horse.
In the afternoon, riders will work through mounted shooting patterns, applying what they’ve learned while receiving individual coaching. The day will conclude with practice runs so participants can experience riding a full pattern.
Our goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where both horse and rider can build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy learning something new together.
