This is a Mountain Leader Assessment Course - you must have attended a training course and have the pre-requisite experience for assessment. Pride Expeditions ethos is to run fun, welcoming and inclusive courses to develop your knowledge confidence and skills in the mountains.
Our ethos is to be inclusive of everyone; you do not need to be LGBTQ+ to join one of our courses. Our aim is to create a safe space for queer people to attend in a supportive environment. If you agree with this aim you are welcome to join us.
We draw on a wealth of experience when delivering the Mountain Leader award scheme. We are active and current Mountain Leaders, International Mountain leaders and Mountaineering Instructors. We are active Mountain Rescue volunteers for the local team and we organise a plethora of training events, festivals and international treks and mountain expeditions.
The Mountain Leader scheme is an awesome award that can open a wealth of opportunities from working in the outdoors, developing your skills to lead others or even just developing your personal skills
