🏍️ The Main Event: Bob Hall’s Bit Nippy 1000 🏍️The time has come to log some serious miles. Join Motopia NM for the infamous Bob Hall’s Bit Nippy 1000 and challenge yourself to earn an official Iron Butt Association "Saddlesore 1000" certificate! We will be tackling a 1,000-mile loop across northern New Mexico.

🚫 Certification NOT Required to Ride!
Don't want the paperwork? No problem! You do not need to apply for the certification to participate. If you just want to enjoy a scenic, epic day of riding around northern New Mexico with a great group of people, you are more than welcome to join us just for the ride.
📝 Certification & Log Rules (For Official Certificate)
If you do want to get your official Iron Butt Association certification, we have to play by the official rules:
The Witness: Bob will be on-site acting as the official witness to sign off on your ride.
Receipts are Key: You must collect a printed gas receipt with an accurate timestamp and location at your starting point, your ending point, and your corner stops along the loop to prove your route and mileage.
Read Up: Check out the official Iron Butt Association SaddleSore Guidelines ahead of time to understand the logging and photo requirements.
💰 Certification Cost: Please note that while Motopia is hosting the ride and providing the witness, riders are responsible for paying their own IBA certification fees if they choose to submit their paperwork ($45–$63.25 depending on the award package you choose).

We are heading north! Please note that the final route is tentative and subject to change based on real-time weather and road conditions. Safety comes first, and we will adapt the path as needed to make sure it's an enjoyable, laid-back run.

Make sure you attend the Pre-Ride Discussion on Friday, October 30th at 6:00 PM at the shop. We will finalize the route, review logging requirements, and get everyone prepped for launch.
