Over five hours, we’ll cover the basics of surviving those first three months, including:
👶 Infant care & soothing
🍼 Feeding & infant nutrition
😴 Safe sleep & the science behind the recommendations
🤱 Safe babywearing
🚗 Car seat installation & proper fit
Each caregiver gets a lifelike demonstration doll to practice with throughout the day. You’ll actually **swaddle, buckle a car seat, practice babywearing, and even mix a bottle of formula.**
Have a car seat, carrier, swaddle, or other baby gear already? **Bring it with you!** We want to help you practice with the things you’ll actually be using at home.
And yes — **lunch is included!** 🥪 Plus, you’ll leave with a newborn survival kit filled with useful baby supplies like diapers, baby soap, a bottle, an infant thermometer, and more. 🎁
Our instructors are experienced parents with **three or more children each** and collectively hold certifications including CPSTs, babywearing instructors, safe sleep ambassadors, and more. Our curriculum is based on current recommendations and guidance from organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, World Health Organization, La Leche League International, and Postpartum Support International.
But our biggest goal is simple:

And our support doesn’t end when class does. We’ll send you home with local community resources and can help connect you with specific resources if your family needs additional support.
